Background
Hungry Eye was founded in 2000 by cinematographer Matt Green. During its early years, the company documented the ‘War on Terror’ in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Centre.
A love for adventure and climbing then enabled an expansion into observational documentary filming, including projects such as the ground-breaking Discovery Series ‘Everest Beyond the Limit’ and the UK interviews for Academy Award winning documentary ‘Taxi to the Dark Side’.
The early adoption of drone filming technologies and stabilised camera systems opened the door to work on the series of ‘Escape to the Chateau’ and development of the successful, long running series ‘Abandoned Engineering’. Today, our work consists of a balance of corporate productions, documentaries and current affairs.
